Agio Technology Measures Employee Satisfaction Using Thinkfuse

NEW YORK – April 17, 2012 – Agio Technology, a managed IT services provider for the world’s premier hedge funds, today announced its ability to track employee satisfaction using Thinkfuse status reports. Thinkfuse developed the analytics by incorporating language used in movie reviews as a barometer of positive and negative words. Running a semantic analysis on the language used in Agio’s status reports, Thinkfuse measured how people were feeling over the past 6 months.

This is all good news for Agio, whose employees use 16% more positive language than average. Additionally, anytime there was an increase in negative language one week, it immediately dropped in the subsequent week, suggesting problems are being discussed and resolved quickly.

THINKFUSE BLOG: What makes Agio employees happy?

Agio uses Thinkfuse to get mission-critical company information out of the inbox and into a format that is globally accessible, archived, and searchable. “The ability to track and analyze employee engagement is invaluable to us,” says Bart McDonough, CEO of Agio Technology. “Agio is committed to delivering a world-class client experience. A satisfied employee makes that client experience possible.”

“This is really the tip of the iceberg of what’s possible,” says Aydin Ghajar, CEO of Thinkfuse. “The ability of a company like Agio to track hard results to company goals is part-and-parcel of why we believe scheduled communication is the lifeblood of the company.”

For Agio, this information lets them know what’s working and what isn’t. “As the CEO, I know exactly what activities to keep encouraging and funding, to support a positive company culture,” says McDonough. “As a company with satellites in various parts of the nation and world, knowing what drives morale is key.”

McDonough is an investor in Thinkfuse.
